The staff is friendly and the ambiance is nice.
The cuisine seems oaxacan so expect a lot of cotjia cheese. Otherwise they carry the standard Tex Mex dishes, plus a few regional takes. -

The fat waiter suck!
He took my menu off my hands, but I was not finished ordering. Never ask how the Food. My salad never came. The drinks are water down pre-mixed from a bottle.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
We and a number of friends have enjoyed dinner at La Tolteca on a number of occasions. All have spoken highly of their experience - both food and service.
For my own experience, I have found the tableside prepared guacamole excellent. Lime, onion, peppers are all adjusted to the customer's taste. Churasco (skirt steak) with chimichuri sauce is one of my favorite dishes. As it it a thinner cut it can be difficult to achieve a proper medium-rare on the grill. La Tolteca has consistently delivered this grilled to a perfect medium rare.
There is no better Mexican restaurant in the area. -

Great service. Ordered lunch fajitas and chili relano plate. Great flavor and nice atmosphere. Waitress Priscilla was very helpful and friendly. Will come back again for sure. Good value for lunch! $19.50 for 2 meals and lots of food

Food was good and portions were pretty large. The service was also great. I will say though we ate at an early time and there wasn't as many people there. We noticed after the place got full our server was spread too thin. But all in all I would go back again, just maybe avoid prime times like Saturday night.
